Skills and attributes I believe to be an amazing teacher are simple. Flexibility, compassion, humor and organizational skills are extremely important in the teaching profession. An outstanding teacher truly cares for her students and wants them all to succeed to their highest potential. She is always supporting her students as a positive role model and connecting with families to build lasting home and school relationships. Humor needs to be incorporated into the daily environment throughout the classroom as a way to make everyone feel welcome and make sure the children are able to enjoy learning. I feel as though only an outstanding teacher will show these wonderful teaching skills and attributes.
